About Me
I’m Firas Maraby, a strength and nutrition coach based in Thornhill with 18+ years of experience helping people train, eat better, build structure, and become more consistent.
I help busy adults who feel physically off-track rebuild their strength, eating habits, routine, and confidence through structured training, nutrient-first nutrition, accountability, and clear progress tracking.
My background includes kinesiology, psychology, health, and nearly two decades of hands-on coaching experience. But my approach is not built on credentials alone. It is built on years of working with real people, real schedules, real stress, real inconsistency, and real life.
Most people do not fall off track because they are lazy. Life gets heavy. Routines break. Stress builds. Training becomes random. Eating becomes inconsistent. Eventually, the body starts to feel unfamiliar.
My job is to help you rebuild with serious training, practical nutrition, real accountability, and a clear plan you can actually follow.
Credentials
Masters in Health (Health data analytics and management)
This master’s gave me a broader health background and a powerful understanding of how to use data to interpret patterns and, more importantly, improve health across multiple levels and dimensions.
BSc in Kinesiology (Honors)
My bachelor’s gave me the academic foundation in movement, exercise, anatomy, physiology, and human performance.
Minor in Psychology
This minor helped develop a deeper understanding of behaviour and helped shape a behaviour-aware coaching approach that understands stress, habits, confidence, and consistency.
18+ Years Coaching Experience
More than any degree or certification, it is the nearly two decades of working in the health and wellness field, in a wide range of capacities, with a wide range of people, from elite athletes to hopeful mothers-to-be preparing their bodies, that I value the most and bring to everyone I work with.
15+ Fitness Certifications
Certifications from systems such as Precision Nutrition and Darby Training Systems have helped me stay up to date and refine my skills over the years.
What Coaching Feels Like With Me
You can expect coaching that is serious, practical, honest, and human.
I care about proper training, progressive strength, movement quality, food quality, recovery, and measurable progress. But I’ll also really care about you. I understand that your body does not exist separately from your life and I have both lived and work experience to understand you and help you towards your goals.
I understand that stress, sleep, responsibilities, confidence, schedule, and environment all affect whether you can follow through.
My role is to give you structure without shame, accountability without ego, and a clear path forward when motivation drops. You’ll also have my ear.
You will not be pushed through random workouts.
You will not be handed a crash diet.
You will not be judged for starting again.
You will be taking care of.
